According to Calvin Thomas, Vice President of Health Sciences and Nursing for Ivy Tech, the Tables present an opportunity for the college to focus on 21st century experiences. The technology will not only impact students going into nursing or medicine, but it also greatly benefits any Ivy Tech students studying science.
Overall, the Table has received a positive response from professors and students! Faculty members are looking forward to having students experience virtual dissection on the Table.

The four quizzes cover the skeletal system for the Lower Limb, Upper Limb, Skull, and Spine/Thorax. Review the presets and use directly or modify the pin placement to fit the requirements of your specific course.
To open the presets on the Anatomage Table:
1. Open the Full Body Male (Korean) Scan.
2. Tap the preset icon and then the preset settings icon.
3. Select "import preset".
3. Then choose the .vpf file containing one of the quizzes.
Each quiz has 9-10 presets. To quiz students on the Table, first enable quiz mode by going into the settings menu. You will want to change the options to check "presets" so that students will be able to change between the presets. The "image control" option will allow students to rotate and zoom. However, the presets have been made so that you do not need to rotate or move the image to see the pins. This would also allow you to take screen caps of the presets and use for a PowerPoint quiz or a printed quiz.

Students at the College of Medicine will soon be able to digitally examine and dissect virtual cadavers. Additionally, they’ll be able to see X-ray, MRI, and CT scans of clinical cases in the Table’s image library. Faculty members are planning to include the Table during lecture and possibly have open access for students in lab. They’re also interested in taking advantage of screen sharing options to present material to different locations.
One of our application engineers traveled to Peoria this week to train faculty and staff on the Table’s features and capabilities for medical courses. Check out the great pictures below of them with the Anatomage Table!
