Helpful hint for Table 4.0 upgrade

I noticed when reading through the instructions for the Table 4.0 upgrade that "press any key" was listed a couple of times. Since there is no keyboard connected to the table I used the Windows On-Screen Keyboard. It worked perfectly and I dragged the icon from the start menu to the deskto...

Hi Micah, The Table uses an optically based touchscreen system. An infrared grid covers the surface of the glass. Whenever an object (your finger, a pen, etc.) intercepts this grid, the Table detects the touch input. You are more than welcome to use exam gloves when using the Table. When cleaning t...

Unfortunately I do not have a picture but we keep our table in a smaller room surrounded by medical posters with detailed images of all the major body systems.

Table touchscreen type

Can someone tell me what type of touchscreen the table uses?

Resistive?
Capacitive?
Surface acoustic wave?

Also we have been requiring all users to use standard exam gloves when using the table.
Will this inhibit performance based on the type of touchscreen used?

Would love a cool poster like that. We are a nursing program and use the table to teach anatomy to our students. It is very helpful to see how the various body systems interact and the ability to remove a layer at a time is great in teaching how certain organs or systems can physically obstruct one ...
