Veterinary Animal Scans on The Table

Postby Jenny Liu » Wed Oct 14, 2015 4:28 pm

Our case library has a vast number of animal scans available. Veterinary schools, high school biology classes, animal science courses, comparative anatomy courses, and more have used these scans to get a better understanding of anatomy.

We wanted to take some time to showcase a few of our favorites in the library.

Thanks Jenny!
I'm hoping to incorporate the table into my comparative anatomy class as well. I have some turtle X-rays I'll donate. Non mammal stuff would be very, very cool.

You're in for a spooky treat! This week, we conjured up this owl beauty just in time for Halloween.

"Hoot" thinks they have even better scans for Halloween? If so, we'd love to see them!

November kicks off what finally feels like Autumn at our California headquarters!

Unfortunately, there will be very little kicking from this week's scans as we focus on a horse with an arthritic limb.

"Rough week at school as midterms and papers weigh you down? I hope this scan of our "fluffy" bunny will cheer you up.

What scans would you like to see as we usher in the holiday season?"

We're shaking things up this week for our Veterinary Scans readers.

Guess the identity of the animal in these scans! First person to guess it correctly and you'll win a beautiful full body anatomy poster.

If nobody gets it, we'll reveal the answer next week. Good luck!

For all of those who peeked at last week's scan, it was the beak of a pelican!
