Late last year, the Ivy Tech Community College system announced the addition of 14 Anatomage Tables to its campuses. The Table Convertibles will be available for all anatomy students in the nursing, health science, and life science curriculum at each of Ivy Tech’s 14 regions across Indiana.
According to Calvin Thomas, Vice President of Health Sciences and Nursing for Ivy Tech, the Tables present an opportunity for the college to focus on 21st century experiences. The technology will not only impact students going into nursing or medicine, but it also greatly benefits any Ivy Tech students studying science.
Overall, the Table has received a positive response from professors and students! Faculty members are looking forward to having students experience virtual dissection on the Table.
